The strategic program was developed over a one-year period with the resident and operating companies to “re-imagine” and “revitalize” this thirty-five year old premier performing arts venue.  Goals included activating the Plaza as festival space, upgrading the theaters for the needs of the artistic companies, improving access and parking.  The Plan seeks to develop the Center to a quality level equal to Disney Hall, while planning the completion of the access, streetscape, and Plaza modifications concurrent with the completion of Disney Hall. The $250 million project will be completed in phases over the next ten years.
