CABOT CULTURAL CENTER, MUSEUM and PUBLIC SPA

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA

A new oasis nestled below the foothills of the Little San Bernardino Mountains – at once quiet and serene – yet vibrant and energetic – embodying the soul of Desert Hot Springs and its founding at the Cabot’s Pueblo. A new physical, cultural, natural, historic and spiritual center for Desert Hot Springs – a place for the community – a place for visitors. A place that emerges from the natural and historic landscape – with connections to the Desert Hot Springs heritage of health and well-being through the healing waters beneath Miracle Hill. An active environment – one for family and community – for the arts, for education, for music and for health and well-being. An interpretive environment—of history through the Cabot’s Pueblo, of health and well-being through a Public Spa, of the arts and culture through exhibits and interpretation of Cabot Yerxa artifacts, of the natural environment through a natural landscape that links to the mountain, the valley and Joshua Tree National Park. A new hub for Desert Hot Springs that will grow and change over time as it evolves with the vibrancy of the City.
