NEWPORT HARBOR NAUTICAL MUSEUM

NEWPORT BEACH, CA

The new location for the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum is a high profile waterfront site in the historic “Fun Zone” on the Balboa Peninsula of Newport Beach. The new building will include galleries, a classroom, a multipurpose room, courtyards, retail store, and administrative offices. In addition, our design includes new dock development for hosting visiting tall ships, research vessels, and visitors’ boats.

The museum is an educational attraction for children and families from all over with interactive exhibits including models, new media presentations, simulators and on-water activities.

Sensitive to the location, our design places an emphasis on daylight and energy conscious design
