The Customer Resource Center supports the sales process and facilitates client exposure to important issues in a series of “learning laboratories” that allows Herman Miller to showcase its strengths and heritage in research, development, and new ideas for the workplace. The architecture creates a visually exciting environment to work, exhibit, and explore ideas while providing great hosting areas, indoors and out, with spaces for large receptions and state-of-the-art conferencing. City views, natural light and environmentally responsible design were also incorporated. A completely flexible floor plan accommodates annually changing product displays, while maintaining a strong architectural form that creates an exciting lasting and non-competitive backdrop for the product – minimizing annual investments for remodeling
